provided that they don't actually get into a fist fight (which chris wouldn't let happen even without Rafael's interference, because he's not looking to get into a fight), what are the actual repercussions of this? Is detention to the extent of the punishment
because chris isn't actually looking to get kicked off the team for a dumb joke that only happened because casey doesn't know how to read sarcasm

Unless Chris is particularly vindictive, aggressive, or persistent, this will only result in detention and a scolding from Vector. If Chris were to, for instance, publicly mock Casey later for being stupid for falling for it, Thorn might question whether or not Chris deserves a spot on the team.

bc in chris's mind, he didn't even mean them to get here. He made a joke about not knowing any junior coppertale boys - with the full knowledge that two of them are on the same team as him, he clearly knows them. But casey just can't read sarcasm, and chris found it funny. But none of this is with malicious intent. He just finds it funny. So once Rafael breaks it up, chris will drop it pretty fast. He's not trying to actually bully casey here.
