he hates being called "jamie" not "jaime". i read it wrong and thought he hated being called "jaime". SO FOR A LONG TIME, ENNIS WAS AFRAID TO CALL HIM BY HIS FIRST NAME BECAUSE I DIDN'T RECOGNIZE THE LETTER PLACEMENT.

like, jaime is pronounced like "high-me" in spanish. he hates being called jamie like "jay-me"

Lol the funny part is that I actually wasn't confused about this comment Bc I read blue beetle. And the kids name is Jaime. And then I watched young justice with him in it - so I heard them pronounce his name correctly

So it all made sense to me when I read jaimes app. This is how my educational process works. It works by accident.

(confession: i still mentally pronounce it like jay-me because the GoT character's name is spelled like jaime but pronounced jay-me. i know this is incorrect. i can't help it.)

i gotchu, i've known a few jaimes and they all pronounced it jay-me. kind of like how ravi is constantly rah-vi in my head instead of ruh-vi. /shame
