DMing is hard, I don't blame him :( In Casey's favor, Rafael is also frankly just.... terrible at the story side of D&D, so a little bit of quality GMing started going a long way with him. So probably this year (?) he was able to really shock Rafael and foil his perfectly built character with something AND HE WAS AFFRONTED BUT IMPRESSED
