How the heck is this going to work?
I faked an example in the comments. In short, organizers will post open championship comments and players will be responsible for signing up for matches in the appropriate round.

Why do we need to sign up early?
So we know how many matches and rounds to post!

How many teams can my character be in?
One.

Can my team play more than once in the same round?
No. Only one game per match/round, to make it easier on everyone's brains. If your team loses, they're out of the championship.

Can there still be non-championship beer pong matches?
OF COURSE!!! And characters participating in the championship can play those to their heart's content! (Or their stomach's discontent, as the case may be.) Never mind! The championship will be the only Quidpong in the IC/OOC. So say we all.

if we end up with more than 16 i vote the zany route. i'll see if i can think something up! :|a

aaand if we have stragglers, we can either pair them up or with extras; casey, quinn, and kurt are all potentials. (YES, KURT, if one is a friend of his!) quinn's getting wasted ~somehow~ at the party but i can always throw her full-tilt into truth or shot or something if need be.

(AND DON'T WORRY RE: CASEY/JACOB :D casey wants jacob to impress his shiny new bf and he's pretty sure this is the best way to do it. "like, win beer pong n take off your shirt lots.")
